Why join
What membership gives you
Scholarship eligibility
WAI awards scholarships every year across flight training, engineering, dispatch and management — members only.
Mentorship and networking
Mentor Connect, WAI Together and a Kenyan chapter of people who have walked the path ahead of you.
Learning and careers
Aviation for Women magazine, on-demand education sessions, Jobs Connect and the annual conference.
Global Access Program
Kenyan rates, applied automatically
WAI’s Global Access Program automatically adjusts membership dues in selected regions — Kenya among them — to expand access and participation.
There is nothing extra to apply for: the adjusted rate is applied for you at checkout when you join or renew from Kenya.
Join WAI →Set up Auto-Pay
Activate Auto-Pay when you join or renew and your membership renews itself each year — so your scholarship eligibility, conference access and member resources are never interrupted by a missed renewal date.
Renew and activate Auto-Pay →Junior Membership
Junior Membership is free for children aged 5–15. It is how a lot of our Girls in Aviation Day attendees stay connected to aviation long after the day itself.
- Free membership for Junior Members aged 5–15
- Birthday and school information are required during registration
- Junior Members are not eligible to apply for WAI scholarships
- Membership expires 60 days after the member turns 16
- Members can then upgrade to Student or Individual Membership
