Changing Lives Through Aviation Education
In 2020, WAI awarded 151 scholarships valued at $831,365 — bringing the total scholarships awarded since 1995 to over $13.2 million.
The WAI scholarship program was founded by Peggy Chabrian with the mission of removing financial barriers from the path of women who dream of careers in aviation and aerospace. Each year, scholarship sponsors enable dozens of women to attend flight school, earn ratings, and advance their careers.
